From a very young age I have always had a passion for photography which has developed more and more as my career has progressed. It is something about capturing the moments that are rare and unique  in  a beautiful form of a photograph that you can keep. Time moves but the photograph is a snapshot of time gone by, a memory captured.

My name is Jade and I am a freelance photographer with my own business called Jade Houghton Photography. My specialism is most definitely newborn and children, with cake smashes being an area of this. I find this the most rewarding area as they are very spontaneous and the photographs speaks a thousands words. 

I am a fun, bubbly, approachable person and with my career as a nursery practitioner I have a good understanding of children. I have a creative perspective on how my photographs are created which is reflected in my end product. 

I have a great passion in photography and have studied it at University where I found my niche for child portraiture. I graduated at Hereford College of Arts where I received my BA Hons Photography Degree.
